How 90 seconds of rock can get you rolling? I haven't done any article reviews for some time on this blog, but someone posted this on my Facebook page, I just had to put my '2 cents worth' in. Dr Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, a professor in human behaviour, noted various ways one can improve productivity in the work place. And this included playing Rock Music 'mid morning' to wake up the minds of employees when it has been hours since they have had breakfast (or morning tea) but still have a while to wait before lunch (or in my case, since I had my first meal of the day, until the meal break during my shift, which is a night shift). And when the wee hours of the morning get a bit much, then it is time to *crank it up* in terms of 'heaviness', volume or speed.
